Last weekend we returned from our 7th DCL cruise and 4th cruise on the DREAM. It was a vacation dusted with lots of Pixie dust, both for our few days at WDW and our cruise.
I thought it would be nice to share it with you all.
So who are we?

First off there is my DB and travelling buddy Tom, who works very hard all year delivering mail for the Austrian postal services. In his spare time he does all sorts of creative things on the computer, like designing fun magnets for our stateroom door

and postcards to send to our friends.
He loves everything and anything Disney and is game for everything I come up with, even a Disney cruise.
Now that leads over to myself.
I am Karin, obsessive planner of our trips to Disney by night, teacher in a small Austrian community by day. I really enjoy everything and anything Disney and love to have as many Disney vacations as possible.
We both live in Austria and English is a second language to both of us, so please dont be too hard on both of us (DB is alpinemouse here on the boards) if there are mistakes.
We both started to visit the US in 1992, where we fell in love with Disneyland

and travelled there every year until we decided we had to visit the other side too, so that brought us to Walt Disney World in 1999. Needless to say we were hooked on the place and returned every summer for at least 4 weeks.
In 2006 I took an unpaid leave so we could experience WDW all decked out for the holidays and in 2008 we added a week long half term vacation in February.
In 2006 I started thinking of taking a Disney cruise. There was a certain fascination with the Disney Magic and I really wanted to cruise on her. Well, we never made it to the Magic, but I convinced my DB that it would be a perfect milestone birthday present to cruise on the WONDERful Disney WONDER. We went with a group of friends

and while I was not convinced that I would like cruising, we fell in love with the WONDERful Disney WONDER the moment we set foot on her.
We cruised back to back the following year.
When the Disney DREAM was launched last year we knew we wanted to try the new ship and while on the WONDER we booked a back to back which we upgraded to a back to back to back on our last day. We had a blast last summer and since we always travel during Presidents week we decided that it would be more fun and more relaxing to do a cruise instead of a weeklong WDW vacation.
And this brings me to our trip report!
Heres the line up .
