Pixar's Win or Lose

Man, I remember hearing about this a while back - glad to see it's still alive!

Disney Pulls Transgender Storyline from Pixar’s ‘Win or Lose’ Streaming Series

UNBELIEVABLE.

This is just...

my...

...god.

I thought Disney was trying to be inclusive with accepting LGBTQ culture, but this is the opposite of that.

Note: I know I already posted this on the "Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun - 2024 Edition" thread, but I thought it would be nice to post it here as well.

Did anybody watch the first two episodes of Win or Lose yet? I did, and I have to say I thought they were really good, however also they are kinda serious downers. I figure it will all work out in the finale, but right now it's like watching the first ten minutes of Up and then turning off the movie!

Yea the second episode especially. Felt like it was building up with him gaining the realization and confidence, only to have it crash down. And made even worse when he was starting to make a connection and then turned her down.

This week's episodes weren't quite as tear-jerky, but still - man. I assume that all sotreis will dovetail to more palatable conclusions at the champioship game. It is very good stuff though.

Well, I was having a nice day, in a good mood, so I decided to watch the new episodes of Win or Lose to really bring my mood down. They do the job! 🤣

I swear, the last one better be from the little blonde kid with the bowl-cut's perspective! He rules!

Well, I don't know if anyone is watching it, but the last two episodes dropped. As expected, there is closure in the final episode, and while it's not quite as much of abring-down as the rest, it's a little...I don't know how I feel about it really. Overall it was a decent series though - interesting for sure at least.

This series will make its TV premiere on Disney Channel this Saturday night, June 7, at 8pm ET! Be sure to check it out then!

Currently watching the series live on Disney Channel right now. Awwww… that blob over Laurie is so beautiful… unfortunately not to her benefit.
