Pixar Play Parade/Carthay Circle

We have 4:50 reservations at Carthay Circle and the parade is at 5:30. Is it fairly easy to get outside seating so we can see the parade? How's the view?

I've heard the view is pretty good. Ask to be seated out on the balcony. You might have to wait a bit extra to get those seats, but that may even work out in your favor even more.

I would not go to Carthay Circle and plan on being able to see the parade from the outdoor seating because they don't always use the outdoor seating areas. Otherwise, if they are seating guests outside, then I would just ask for an outdoor table when you check in. They'll do their best to accommodate you (but they won't guarantee anything and it might mean an extra wait). In terms of the view, it should be fine because Carthay is on the parade route. However, I do remember there being a wall around the patio (opposed to a fence), so you might have to stand up to be able to see over the wall (depending on your height).
