Pixar pier or Radiator Springs first on Halloween?

We are doing DCA on Halloween (no oogie boogie passes). We are hoping to make rope drop. Which is a better strategy? Do Cars then hit everything else and save incredibles coaster for last using maxpass? Or vice-versa?

I like your plan. Incredicoaster doesn’t get as long of a line as Radiator Springs does.

I would definitely get maxpass if you can. That way you can be sure to get fast passes for which ever way you don't go first.

Me personally I go for Radiator Springs racers first but I am not a fan of TSMM and I can usually get on Incredicoster pretty quick. But maxpass could really help in making sure you hit all the major rides.

RSR. When we were there the day after Thanksgiving, the RSR fast passes were out by 11 am and there was never a line shorter than 2 hours. On the flip side, our family road the incredicoaster several times and had were able to get at least 2 fast passes for it. The other times, their line wait was only like 30 minutes long, maybe less.

That said, try to do both at night if you haven't. I don't like roller coasters, so I didn't go on it, but everyone else said the Incredicoaster was 10 times better at night. And RSR at night is magic.

If you have MP, you can go straight to RSR at rope drop by the stand by line, and also book a FP on MP for it right after you enter the turnstile. If there are no EMH at DCA that morning, your return time should be right away if you are early in the stampede through the turnstiles and book right away. Then you get two rides on RSR right away. As soon as you ride standby, ride again with your FP. Then as soon as you scan your FP for RSR, book a FP for Incredicoaster. If there is time and lines are low (and you want to ride the other rides in Carsland), the other rides in Carsland will have low waits still. Ride those. Then use your IC FP. You should be done with all of this in the first 30 minutes of park opening. Then book whatever you want to ride next!

The other rides in Carsland don’t have FP so I won’t ride them later in the day when the waits build since they aren’t my favorites.

The other thing that builds a wait is the Wheel of Death (fun wheel), so if interested in that, hit it early.

I would enter the park as early as possible and immediately get a MaxPass for Radiator Springs Racers. Then ride the two smaller Cars Land rides, which should have short lines first thing as everyone races to RSR. By that time your RSR MaxPass should be ready or close. Then whole waiting in the RSR line, get a MaxPass for something like TSM or IC on Pixar Pier while you wait for RSR. Repeat as needed and you should easily get everything done.

No, we are a family of 5 with kids from 4-12. My eldest and husband could do single, but the remaining three of us can't. Also, debating when to switch over to Disneyland. I originally thought we would have an early dinner (430) at lamplighter then switch over to DL. We have to do Haunted Mansion. It's a requirement. Having read some of the other threads I might lean towards early afternoon then switch - before DL gets to crowded.

I am taking the three kids to do the dark rides/Fantasyland with no max pass the day after in the morning. Then we have another full day on Nov 3 (starting at Galaxy's Edge). We are only doing parades/nighttime shows by ear. We are ride people.
