Pittsburgh Penguins... Stanley Cup Champs!

Wow we have some sour grapes here.

Whine and cry all you want , call Sidney anything you want, bottom line we are the Stanley Cup champs.

nevermind all the cheapshots the Red Wings took on our players. Or the fall-downs and acting to draw out penalties. Plus the Detroit fans are beyond rude.. To cheer when Crosby got hurt and to boo when the Penguins won is about as classless as you can get.

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS and your team is not....nah nah nah!

Maybe if the Penguins hadn't behaved so poorly, the Wings fans wouldn't have booed them. Ever think of that? Why you cheer for a team that thinks it is ok to try and purposely re-injur a player during his first game back? Why would you cheer for a team whos premier player thinks it is ok to jam his stick into the other team's line? That is not behavior to cheer for.

And the thing is, until Crosby did his little shot with his stick, I would have been happy for him to win. Getting the Cup at such a young age, come on! Any fan of hockey can see how that would be neat! But that one action with his hockey stick shows that he has A LOT of growing up to do. And A LOT to learn about sportsmanship. I went from a fan to a non-fan with that cute little move.
