PIT parking

We are arriving at Island Tower next Saturday, February 21 and will be driving. I'm wondering where is the self-parking? On maps, it appears that you have to pass the main entrance and turn in just past it for the parking lot. So, when arriving, would we have to unload our belongings at the main entrance, then someone has to park and walk back. I've stayed at BWV many times and always thought the parking was a little far. How does this compare? Thanks in advance for any info!

Im not following your question, you can drive to the Island Tower and drop your bags just like you do at the GCH, they have a pull up entry and you park right there next to the tower.

I just wasn't sure if the parking lot that I see just past the entrance is where you park. I seems far away, but sometimes maps can be deceiving.

What do you mean? There's a parking lot directly in front of the island tower, it's partially underneath the monorail beam. PIT has it's own parking entry gate, it's own parking lot, and it's own porte cochere for unloading.
