How do you get the quest?
Are they just out like the other 3 or do you have to ask them for it.
IF you have to ask them do the scan your id when they give it to you, so that it is only one quest Sheet per person?

The credits code has been giving only 100 credits since about 2 pm EST yesterday afternoon. I doubt they will change it back.

Sorry if I am being a little slow today (could be due to going through a tornado and being home with 5 kids all summer) but I am still a little confused. IF you have to ask for them do the scan your id when they give it to you, so that it is only one quest per person?

ok... let's clear this up.

They are NOT scanning your pass when you ASK for the quest. At this point I don't know if they still have the quests themselves behind the counter so you can't just go grab a bucket of them. If you say, "I have 4 people with me" they will probably just give you 5 cards (1 for you plus the 4 people with you). I would guess if you said, "I have a party of girl scouts waiting at the ice cream shop, I need 30 cards" They will probably NOT give you 30 cards but make you have the kids come down in groups. This isn't fact, it is just a guess.

The Pirate Well item code/card is PART of the scratch off quest card.

They DO scan your pass when you are presenting the completed quest card to receive the room prize.

This should clear up a few of the questions

I just tried the point code and it did not work at all. Hopefully it will get fixed later today. To those who entered quest codes and got the wrong items I offer hope. After the table and chair was announced as coming up as ace of spades, I entered my code for the rug to see what would happen. I got the rug, but days later the table and chair showed up in my inventory. Here's hoping you are as lucky with the room codes.

So people who enter the codes now are getting their rooms and their wells, but I still wasn't given either, and my email yesterday to the Black Hole hasn't gotten a reply yet. D'oh!

EDIT: I spoke too soon! Less than an hour later I got email from VMK_Shorty telling me that the items had been placed into "your/your child's account" - and I logged on to check and found them there, plus I still had the microphone that was erroneously given to me. Yay!

Lime, the codes you got yesterday should be fine. You may have to get new ones though being that you already entered them. I waited until the bug was fixed and everything works fine now.

Goofy, the quest is not at DLR as of today. There is talk that it will be in the future though.

I had the chance to go to WDW and do the new Pirate Quest today. So I am going to go through this whole thread and answer any questions that have not already been answered. Also there might be a little more information to give.

...Do they mean that when you go into VMK central, and get the question card, they give you a card? Or can you get card #28 and card #29 at the same time when you turn in the answers?

The Pirates Quest brochures have the #28 well card as a part of it. The #29 room card is separate and will be received when the correctly completed quest is turned in.

Will they scan your ticket first before they give out the quest card? And then again when the answers are completed?

At WDW the brochure is in the holders with the other Quest brochures, so you do not have to ask a CM for them. When you turn the correctly completed brochure in the CM will scan your pass and the brochure to give you the room card. That means that you have a have a different brochure for every pass turned in.

Can anybody make out the time frame on the back of the card?...

This is an interesting one. The dates printed on both the well and room cards say "Redeemable through September 30, 2007...". However the date printed on the brochure (in the fine print to the right of the back of the well card) says "Quests are valid July 1, 2006 through September 30,2006." I guess you might have to complete the quest by this October, but have a year from then to enter the codes.

Okay, I am going to try to clear up the confusion once and for all lol.

I was at VMK Central yesterday morning and afternoon. Yes, the codes were not working correctly so they told everyone to wait to enter them. Those who already entered them are probably out of luck in my own opinion.

The quests are out in the open with the others. It is a half page card with a code for credits posted directly on it. The card for the well is also right on it. You do NOT need to do anything to get this card including swiping your ID. The only thing you DO need to turn in and swipe is for the new room. There are four questions. If you get them right, you hand it in, get the ID swiped, and then receive back the form (which has your well code on it already) plus another card for the room. Plain and simple.

I just saw ElectricLime in game and he said he got his well and room today. Whether this was done automatically from the codes previously entered or because he used the "Contact Us" link is not known. So if you entered some codes and got the worng / no items, use "Contact Us" to report it as soon as possible.

Sorry but I have another question. I know they swipe your card after you do the ride part of the quest, but what I want to know is the day after you do that can you go and get another card and get just the well? Sorry to be such a pain!!

You don't even need to wait until the day after. As has been reported by several people, the cards are sitting IN the regular quest bins. Out in the open. If you want, you can apparently grab a handful. I'm guessing that if they see you empty a bin, however, they may ask you to put some back.
