Pirates & Princess Parties Cancelled for 2009!!!!

I am sooooo disappointed to find out that Disney has CANCELLED the Pirates & Princess Party dates at MK for April and May, 2009. We were going to surprise our kids with this when we visit in April. I called to buy tickets yesterday and the lady told me the dates have been cancelled...all of them...and they don't know why...and to her knowledge they're not re-scheduling...so bummed. I even bought my DH a cool Jack Sparrow pirate outfit as a surprise...waaaaahhhh...

I suppose that if you are going AFTER Space Mountain closes too, your entire vacation will be ruined. OR..........you could go back another time

I am RELIEVED to say that we will be in MK for my birthday, which is April 18th so that is the LAST day Space Mountain is open...now that they've announced the date I wonder if MK will be extra busy that day...hope not...

Oh no!!! I was being forced to dress up as a pirate by my girlfriend & I'd actually agreed to it.. looks like I've got out of that one ... I am kinda gutted really though
