My son is Jake and the Neverland Pirates obsessed. We will meet Jake at Play and Dine @ h&v. He would also like to meet Hook and Peter Pan. Is pirates and pals the best way? He is 4 and daughter is 1.5. Is the best way to get back to Pop after by bus? Or can I get a taxi with car seats?

You can see Pan and Wendy and Hook and Mr. Smee in MK but Pirates and Pals was great fun. It was a wonderful event.

I would try to take the bus back. We did the cab (and didn't have to worry about car seats) and I think we probably would have been able to catch the buses faster.

We did the Pirates and Pals Voyage on our trip in March and it was phenomenal! I would highly recommend it! There was a scavenger hunt type of game and some puzzles and coloring stuff for the kids before the Voyage began, and the whole family got bandanas. Then there were light snacks (Smartfood popcorn, Mickey ice cream sandwiches, popsicles, cake, drinks, etc.) and a meet and greet with Hook and Smee. Then you hop aboard a boat with "Patch" as your pirate guide (there are 2 Patch's, they are brothers ;) ). We sang, told stories, got to see Wishes over MK, and when we got back, Peter Pan was waiting for pics and autographs. It was a great time!

This sounds like something my soon to be 7 year old would like.
What is Pirates and Pals and what do I need to do for him to see/do it?

My son was 3 1/2 when we did the Pirates & Pals fireworks cruise and he LOVED it. I highly recommend it! He's also a huge Jake fan, and while he was bummed that Jake wasn't on hand for that, he had a blast interacting with Captain Hook and Mr. Smee. (Smee was particularly playful, and really gave him lots of attention.) And then there was the surprise guest who met us on the docks... we were the last ones in line for that little meet & greet, and we got some really great, quality time with Peter Pan himself. My son was on Cloud 9! In fact, he loved it so much, we're debating whether to go again on our next trip, when he'll be 5.

The only warning I will give, for those of you with littles (and little bladders) - the boat has no bathroom, so a pit stop before boarding is an absolute MUST!

So excited! I booked this for me and hubby (yes, no kids:)) on Halloween night! Yay!
Does anyone know if it'll be cold on the water in October???

I so wanted to do it, but the no bathroom thing will keep us away unfortunately :(

If your little ones like Captain Hook and Smee then Pirates and Pals Fireworks cruise is great. We took my niece and nephews on the cruise and they loved it. Getting to meet Hook and Smee and later on some quality time with Peter Pan. And one other thing - the kids got to see the fireworks (and the audio) without all the crowds.

I booked for October since my DD (2.5) is obsessed with Jake & Peter Pan & Hook as well. Anyway, the easiest/cheapest way to get to Pop would probably be to walk from the Contemporary to MK and take the bus to Pop.

This sounds awesome. I'm thinking about booking it for my Dec trip with my DS and me. We're going two weeks before he turns 3. Do you all think that he will enjoy it or is he still a little too young? The trip is just the two of us so I want to make special memories.

I am so glad to see adults booking this cruise for themselves I was thinking it was just for families with young children. I just booked the Pirates & Pals for my nephew and myself for 10/24. Thinking it will be a great way to see Halloween fireworks away from the crowds.

I don't think it will be cold at all should be beautiful on October evenings.

I just booked for our August trip!! My daughter (6) has become pirate obsessed since the new Tinkerbell movie came out!

I asked the CM on the phone if I would get an e-mail confirmation & he said no but I could use my conf# to link it in MDE... Does anyone know where? I can't find it!

Just wanted to let you know that you are only on the boat for about an hour. The Party and meet and greet with Capt. Hook and Mr. Smee takes place inside the Contemporary and the Peter Pan M&G is near the pool bathrooms.
