Pirates opening today?

My dh and I are in Orlando today, planning to go to the MK for Pirates. According to the Disney app at 8:45 it was to be open at 9, but the app is saying temporarily down. Anyone in the park know the status?

I am jones'ing for some POTC. It was down while we were there.

They opened it at about 10am after some technical issues first thing. Not sure if it's still running as I haven't been over that way in a while

We rode it about noon. Still got a little wet. Overall it looked nice. Very cleaned up. Hoping to get another ride in tonight.

I can't wait. It was down last year when we went in April...it is the one ride, along with HM, that we could ride over and over.

Just rode it now. Getting off now, on the exit escalator thing.

15 minute wait when the sign said 30.

No, not really. Very cleaned up, everything was nice and neat. Yes you still get wet. The drop and in the sea battle. We asked a guy in a nice looking shirt what changed and he told us it was just a long comprehensive uplift. The animatronic motions have been updated but nothing really crazy.
