Hey all! Question for those of you coming back or have been to Magic Kingdom recently! I read on the WDW website that POTC was in refurbishment until the end of summer. However, allears said that it was re-opening around easter until april 30. (I'm assuming because Easter is such a busy time there.) Then, I went back to the WDW site today and the notice telling you of POTC closure isn't there anymore! Does this mean it's open?? We are there from April 24 - 28th. I hope, I hope, I hope! I was really looking forward to taking my DS-5 on it!! Thanks!

I just returned yesterday. We rode it Friday April 7. HTH

Yes it will be open while you are there. It has re-opened on and is scheduled to remain open until April 30. It will re-close on May 1-June 30 to continue the refurbishment. Don't expect to see any changes though as the first part of the rehab was ride maintenance, the new animatronics and ride additions will be added when it closes in May.
