Pirates Night Questions

We just got back from 3 day Wonder Cruise. Not many people dressed up on our cruise. We were in Triton's for dinner that night, the wait staff did not dress any differently, but they handed out the bandana's to everyone. It was all very low-key. After reading so much about it on these boards, I expected a whole lot more. It was a beautiful night though. The dessert buffet looked delicious, but we had late seating for dinner and had just finished eating, so couldn't indulge. The fireworks were nice, but very very short. Don't hate me, but IMO the whole thing was nothing special!

Don't hate you but feel bad it wasn't that special for you...On our 6 day cruise on the Magic (last week) we wer in Lumiere's and our servers did a dance w/big pirate flags and congo line with the kids (and some adults) before dessert. Can't remember if they dressed in special uniforms or not. BUT it was very festive! Our servers and other cast members raided our table for glow bracelets, rings & gold coins I had brought from home. We even did "fake" stick on tattoos for our tablemates and any near by kids who wanted one. All this before the deck party & fireworks! We had a "magical" evening!

We've been to Pirate night twice. The kids dressed for the second Pirate Night. They looked so cute and had such a good time. We got some great photos with Chip and Dale in their pirate attire. Next trip we getting in line early enough for Mickey and Minnie in their pirate attire. (We missed that photo by 10 kids). ARGH!!!!!!!! I ordered their costumes from www.halloweendepot.com . Deadtellnotales.com has some great adult stuff and a good selection of pirate hats.

Guess what costumes my kids will be wearing this Halloween? Yup! Pirate costumes.

We just came back from the 7/24 cruise and the Pirates night was on the third night (Castaway Cay day).
