Last time we went, Pirates League was open till 5pm. So we got a 4:30pm res and entered the park at 4pm for the MNSSHP, went straight to Pirates League, then enjoyed the party afterwards.

Now, Pirates League closes at 4pm. If you get a reservation at 3pm or later will they still let you in the park early like they do for dining reservations? We want to do Pirates League for MNSSHP but don't want to have to pay for an entire days MK ticket just to get in to do it (we are going to MK on a non MNSSHP day anyway later in the week to see MSEP so this would be so redundant and expensive).

I currently have Pirate League booked for my kids on a MNSSHP day and latest time available was 1:00. I took it, but will keep checking back for later times.

They may open up some more times after 4pm as we get closer to September. Keep an eye out.

So they might actually extend their operating hours? On the website it says TPL closes at 4pm. Getting a reservation doesn't seem to be an issue. I called in yesterday at 7:17am EST and had a 52 minute wait. Once I got through there were ressies open for each day I inquired about. I wasn't sure which day my party wanted to go so the rep suggested I book both days then call back today and cancel the one I didn't need. So I did.

After speaking to my party last night, we actually changed our dates completelty (to a week later). So this morning I call in at 7:03am (lines open at 7am) and had a 30 minute hold. The rep cancelled my prior ressies and checked for 2 diff days in our new week. Both had openings for my party of 3 (just as the day before). Our ressies are for 1:45pm. So there seems to be plenty of openings out there.

I just really hate to pay for a MK park ticket @ $103 just to get into TPL to get painted up for MNSSHP. We are already planed to do a MK day thats non MNSSHP as the 3 ppl coming with me have never been to DW and I wanted them to see both parades and fireworks.

As it stands, I guess I'll have to do MK/MNSSHP on one day so they can get Pirates League and then get a park hopper to leave DHS and head to MK in the evening for the regular parade and fireworks. Thats kind of a mental bummer to me because I really didn't want their first time in MK to be an in-and-out parade/fireworks.

Oct - 18 Sun - AK, Ohana for dinner
19 - Mon - DHS then Park Hop to MK for parade/fireworks
20 - Tues - Epcot
21 - Wed - Universal day ticket and Halloween Horror night (long day)
22 - Thurs - MK day ticket and MNSSHP (long day)

Its a nightmare to think about being up late at HHN on Wed then trying to do another long day on Thurs. We have also never been to Universal (including myself) and I've read its best to buy the day ticket, wait in the holding areas, then get a head start on the haunted houses just before they let the crowds in. Thats the main reason for doing the long day at US/HHN.

I really do hope they extend their hours so I can avoid having to buy that extra MK ticket.

I hope they extend their hours too. I'll be at the Pirate League on the same day right around the same time. I too would like to give the kids more time to rest in the morning before heading to MK, it will be a long, but FUN, day.
