Pirate's League Question

Hello! I have a question about Pirate's League, as it has been since Thanksgiving 2012 since DD did the mermaid package.

DS and DD are going to do the first mate and empress package and the prices say "Starting $34.95 plus tax) and then it lists what's included. My question is, when you went, was that the price or did you have unexpected fees to add to that? Both kids already have pirate t's/dress to wear, so all we want is the regular experience, no costumes or anything.

Just trying to budget best I can and wondering if I need to budget for more than the $34.95 per kid?

We had no additional fees above what we expected to pay, one for Jake the Pirate, the other for Black Eyed Pirate.

When we did the Jake package- it was exactly the price that was quoted. The only additional costs I could foresee is if you wanted pictures or things such as a sword or something not included in the package.

The "and up" is for the costumes, pictures, and trinkets they offer with the package. If you can avoid all that, you get the price advertised. Be warned they have a gimmick that the kids get a secret pirate code thingie if you buy the pictures, and it was said within earshot of children.
