Pirates League in MK

Is Pirates League only in MK? I was hoping they had it elsewhere so my little guy didn't have to wear the makeup all day in the park. Also how long does it take?

Yes, it is only in MK. The process wasn’t that long, but the turnover was slow, so my daughter was seen well after her appointment time when we went last June.

The process can take quite a while as it seems there is a waiting period for each stage of the process - checking in, waiting to be called, getting your pirate name, getting into a chair for the make-up, etc. It took at least an hour when we went. The makeup washes off pretty easily with regular soap. If he gets tired of wearing it, you could always take him to a rest room and wash it off.

We've never done Pirates League (taking DD this summer) so I'm not sure about the specific makeup they use there. However, I have found that facepaint types of makeup come off much more easily with lotion. My DD has eczema and scrubbing at her face with a washcloth and soap can really, really irritate her skin. I get makeup/face paint off much more easily when I rub some lotion into her skin, wipe off the make up/paint with a tissue, and then have her wash her face. (Also, jumping into a pool at the end of the day seems to do a pretty good job of removing Navi face paint from Pandora!)
