I think it stinks..theynknow well ahead of time when rides are going down....... very disrespectful of peoples vacation time...

They know well in advance when they want the rides to be down for maintenance. Many things affect whether that's the time it actually happens. Whether they get the necessary parts for replacement, whether the CMs who will work on the maintenance (the ones who have the skills) are available. Even things like the weather can affect it.
