Pirates Event Merchandise Shipment?

Has anyone else received their merchandise shipment from last week's Pirate Event at WDW? We received two huge boxes today; I knew something had to be wrong, because there were only supposed to be something like six items all together. We opened the boxes and were amazed by what was enclosed! The contents did not come close to matching the attached shipping list, which was the original list of items we chose to ship and had prepaid shipping. There were three boxed jumbo pins, two of the box coin sets and two of the smaller jumbo pins. We were only supposed to receive one of each of these items! But the clincher has to be two of the LE50 framed pin sets were sent, and we weren't even supposed to get one! It's hard to believe they had any extras of this set to send us.
I've never seen an order this messed up! Has anybody else experienced this kind of problem? I'm going to call event services, but I'm not even sure if I can explain the situation; it's such a mess! :confused:
 
I guess I'm glad I paid the extra for tax and shipped it myself. Sure hope they get that one straightened out soon.
 
I shipped my own items at the UPS store near the Premium Outlets and my 3 boxes arrived today.

I'm guessing you got someone else's order. I bet they are going to be pee-o-d.

Now the question is........who got your stuff???

I received my items on Thursday and everything was correct.

However, when I was checking out at the event, the address they said they would ship it to was an incorrect prior address which was sold 3 years ago. I asked them to correct my address (amazing they had this old address as my RSP info came to my correct new address!) and delete the old one. Thursday nite, I get a call from the guy who now lives in my former address and fortunately he was nice enough to look up my phone number. Here, Event Services still shipped my items to the wrong address even though all the invoice papers contained within the shipment had the correct new address in it!!! It turned out OK and I picked up the box, but it was inconvenient that this happened especially after I asked them to delete the old address from their computer systems. I called on Friday to inform Event Services that this happened and was told that their computers had the right address it must be with shipping that has the wrong one. Still don't understand if the shipping group actually looked at the paperwork invoices, the Ship To address was my correct new address. Frustrating!!
