We were thinking of going to the Pirates Dinner Adventure show, but after seeing a clip of it on Youtube, my SIL is worried it might be a much for the kids. Their ages are 4, 6 and 8. We wondered if it was a bit too dark (content wise, not lighting) for them. The 4 year old is mine and I was wondering if it might be too much and too long for his concentration - it seemed suitable for older kids and adults.

Does anyone have any experience with this and thoughts on children attending?

Thanks

We took our son when he was almost 4, my in-laws bought tickets for us. He wasn't scared but he doesn't scare easily. However, we would never return! The show was cheesy but worse than that - the food was AWFUL. I can't stress that enough. If the show was decent to make up for it - it would be better, but not enough to ever return. Awful. I can't believe its still there, to be honest.

Wow, thanks. That is really interesting. We must reevaluate then.

Is this the consensus of opinion for those have visited? I have to say, I have felt for a while that other shows in Orlando, that I have seen that aren't Disney, are quite cheesy.

Absolutely agree ..and the Arabian Nights dinner show was no better either for the record !:scared:

The reviews on tripadvisor are AWFUL for this show. I contemplated it too since my son loves pirates, but I don't think it would be worth the cost.

Thanks guys, I think I have read enough to make the decision to not go. Also read the trip advisor mentioned.......phew, I'd be mad to book!:sad2:
