We are going to do this for the first time. It's gotten mixed reviews but the overall average is positive. I think it is all about expectations. Obviously the food in a banquet style format isn't going to be top-notch gourmet. Tickets aren't cheap but at least kids are free this month so we figured now is the time to check it out.
They want you to check-in 1.5 hrs in advance, 1 hour MINIMUM! Huh? And the one thing that did seem consistent in reviews was that the hor devours sucked during the pre-show portion.
What I'm wondering is how the time that you show up will effect where you are seated and your chances of being part of the show? Do people showing up, say 45 minutes in advance get screwed on seating and very little chance of being in the show?
We have a group of 6 adults and 2 children. We'll be at Knott's Berry Farm that day and want to stay at the park as long as possible and would hate to head to this dinner adventure at 3:30 to find the pre-show was a waste of time.
