I think my Ds who will be 8 when we go will enjoy this. Has anyone taken Children of similar age and am I best to wait till I get there and buy the tickets or get them before I go? :confused3

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi,

When we went to Pirates DS was 9 and DD was 7.

I would say both enjoyed the pre-show (basically an attempt to extract as much money from you as possible) but I dont think either enjoyed the show.
This was a couple of years ago so I dont know if they've made any improvements.

We didn't have good seats and it was difficult to see what was going on.
Personnally we wont be going back.

I would buy tickets before you go. There are various discount coupons when you get there but I think you will get a better price buying before you go.

We didnt go last year but the rest of our party, 6 adults & 3 kids aged 6-8-11 did. The adults loved it but the kids were very indifferent, usually when we all met up at the end of the day the kids would be raving about whatever they had done & seen but after this they didnt mention anything at all.

We just walked up to Pirates on the off chance and got seated but we were right at the back. My children were 6 and 4 and I don't think they quite understood what was going on, adults too and it was a bit, well, forced, loud and the food portion was small to say the least, the dessert was nice but for the money it just wasn't worth it, and then on top of the expense you have to leave a tip
