Pirates and Pals

Oh, this was so awesome. We loved it (me, DH and DS (11)). :cool1:

We thought the price was worth the experience. We had an amazing pirate on our boat. He entertained us with jokes and songs. pirate:

And the view of the fireworks was also great.

We will do this again.

It is totally worth it. We had a great time. You begin the night with some snacks in the Contemporary while everyone gathers. You get pirate gear & then you are off. The boat ride is filled with songs & jokes. It was kind of like a floating comedy show. The fireworks from the boat are fantastic. Not like any other vantage point I've seen. The hosts are great & keep everyone engaged & entertained. Fun for all ages, with or without kids.

We did it, but we wouldn't do it again. The fireworks on the water was beautiful, but the "show" was lame. My kids were bored. (7, 5, 4yo) I would consider doing a regular Wishes cruise, but I wouldn't do the pirate one again.

We did the cruise March 2013. We had a great time. The party was cute, we had a great pirate host. We would definitely book this again.

We took our 5 year old twins and had a blast! We all dressed like pirates for the event and we were not alone!

They had a nice welcome reception at the Contemporary with drinks, desserts and pictures with Captain Hook and Smee.

We then boarded the boat with our pirate guide. En route to the fireworks we sang songs and did trivia. Very entertaining.

We watched the fireworks and they were able to simulcast the audio right to the boat.

When we arrived back at the pier, Peter Pan was waiting for another photo op.

Overall it was very well done and a lot of fun. I would highly recommend it!

Does anyone know where I can find the days/times for this cruise for May 2014? I've been looking everywhere and can't find anything!
Thanks!

Hi,

We are booked for this next week. I am really curious if anyone knows what the determining factor is for when you get to see the electrical water parade and when you don't. This is one of the main reasons I signed up for this cruise, but I understand that it doesn't always happen.

I will report back after our trip to let you know how it was.

I'd be interested in the answer to the electrical water pageant question as well. We're doing this next month. I can't wait, I hope it's everything everyone claims it is :)

Wouldn't the determining factor just be when your cruise is? The EWP runs on a particular schedule- a little after 9:00 for Poly, around 10:00 for Contemporary. We were lucky enough to see it when we had our cruise.

I have booked this for our Easter 2014 trip - but be warned they take the total amount from your credit card when booking.
