Has anyone done this for the fireworks at MK? If so pros and cons please. Thank you

We did this several years ago with just two adults. We had a good time. Essentially it's a party where you get all sugared up (krispie treats, cotton candy, cookies, etc...), meet Captain Hook and Smee, and then hop on a pontoon boat to watch the fireworks.

This was when Wishes was still the nighttime show though, and we enjoyed it. I'm not sure how good it is with HEA having so many projections. You will miss out on those.

Lots of pros!! Best money spent!
Don’t have to deal with crowds at MK. Tons if food, fun entertainment for kids and adults and 3 characters too.
Only con was you don’t see the projections as well but you do hear the music and actually get a better view of the fireworks.

We did this several years ago and it was one of the best experiences of our trip. The party at the Contemporary was fun, the fireworks view was great, as mentioned there were characters that aren't always easy to find, and the pirate captains were awesome! Even with missing out on the castle projections, we'd do it again.

We love this and have done it twice. The only con is that the new show relies heavily on projections so I would do this once for the experience and then try another night to see the show to catch the projections.

We have seen the fireworks with the projections a few times. Wanted to do this for a change from the park mayham

We have done it for years.! Lot of fun ! Not sure if equity (royal historian) Ben still plays one of the Patch brothers , but if you are lucky to get him, you're in for a treat!

We do it every trip! The food is good and we love being able to see characters you can’t meet elsewhere. The captains of the boats (Patch and Patch) are so fun and are great at getting people to engage. The only downside I’ve ever felt, is depending on the side of the boat your on and the direction the boat faces when the fireworks start, you may have a few heads in the way. But the view is still awesome! And then to end the night with Peter Pan waiting for you at the dock is one of my kids favorite parts! Depending on what boat you’re one and which one docks first, there may be a little wait for Pan, but I’ve always felt he gives good interaction to everyone while meeting people quickly.

I didn’t even know about this! I do believe I’ll have to try it out. I’m assuming you make a reservation? Is it easy to get?

Not sure how it would be with the new fireworks, but, the experience was awesome, the snacks were good, the CMs were fab, and everyone on the boat was into the fun, there were quiz prizes, fun facts and of course we met Hook, Smee and Peter Pan! (I have a lovely pic of my son walking down to the boat from the contemporary holding onto Hook's hand!)

Done this several times and love it. Just don’t make it your only HEA viewing so you have a chance to see the projections. It’s a lot of fun

I LOVE Peter Pan and Hook so I’ve got to book this now! Do you remember about how long it lasted?

Love it!! have done it twice, and has become one of our favorite things to do each trip. The party is great for all the goodies, especially if there are mickey ice cream bars. The pirates on the boats keep it entertaining while you are traveling out to the fireworks spot.

we had a good while in the room with snacks and drinks, then Smee and Hook come out with enough time for everyone to get pictures etc. Then they walked us down to the boat with Patch the Pirate, then cruising with quiz, fun facts and general merriment, then pageant then fireworks, then Pan. Was a good couple of hours.

We did it in January of 2018 and had a great time until we got onto the water. VERY COLD OUT THERE! With that said, the captains were great, the food was good, the characters were awesome and the other guests all got into the theme. Best part was Peter Pan meeting the kids after we got off the boat ride and chatting with them for a few minutes.
