Pirates 1 on 1 glitch

Myself and the other person in the screenshot, both joined another game. Neither of us hosted it. The game loaded and the other two people were gone! No host, no AI in their place. Just gone. We duked it out solo style for our team. It was kind of neat!

That sounds like something that happened to JustMonkeyMe the other day. I posted that she started a game but she said that someone else started it because she did not. Maybe her game started on its own as well.

I've seen missing players several times, I figure they quit or crashed while the game was loading, but that's weird for two players to go poof.

Yeah I've had that happen too and usually AI picks up the slack after the first round. The entire game, not a single AI in sight.

No I mean I've had them with a missing player for the entire game. I've even won 1-on-2 before.

I had this happen to me too. In fact, the other night, I was playing on a mule trying to get all the space quests done. In one of the quests (diver's I believe), you have to win a game within a certain amount of time or you go back and have to buy something from Imports again.

So I get into a game with 3 other people, but by the time the game starts, I am in there with no partner whatsoever and both persons of the other team were there.

Needless to say, they showed absolutely no mercy. I lost in round 3 gaining only 8 credits total in the process. And this particular mule only had 50 credits to start with. I ended up having to quit the quest in order to build up the credits so I could finish it.

If the AI player had shown up, then I might had stood a better chance.

It's not only dc or crash or quitting. It can also be someone that got booted back to the lobby. Once I got booted back to the lobby but everyone else was in the game. I also have won with less players on my team. I hope you don't lose credits when crashing or getting booted. How do you quit while the game is starting anyway?
