Pirate Themed Restaurant?

My 4 year old is bummed out that there isn't a Pirate themed character meal offered at Disneyland but someone told me there is a restaurant near the Pirate ride that is "piratey" ? Does anyone know what I mean? they said it's kind of marshy and foggy? What is the name of the place? Would you reccomend it?

The Blue Bayou is connected to Pirates, but it is a nicer sit-down place. Since it was remodeled last summer, it has not received good reviews on this site. You could search the boards to find recent reviews on it.

There was a thread the other day about it and most reviewers still seemed to like it. But it is pricey. We are going there on Thursday. I will try to post a review. Haven't been in nearly 20 years to BB, I'm sure it's changed.

i know this isnt in Disneyland but you might consider it if your child is pirate lover...

The Blue Bayou isn't really a restaurant for kids. It has a nice bayou theme but certainly not anything to do with pirates as a four year old would see it.
I wouldn't spend the money to do bb for the sake of your son. Take him to the Stitch breakfast and have some fun playing with stitch instead.

My kids love BB, but it is a 'fancier' quiet type place. It is still themed enough for my kids though.

Blue Bayou is located in the Pirates ride. It is not so much themed with chars, or anything. It is a sit down place which requires reservations, and it is really pricey as far as just going for the theme. It is probably the priciest of choices inside the park. Entrees for lunch start at 20 dollars, and selection is limited, dinner 25-26 start price and price goes up and very limited menu. I would have to say it really is more of an adult dining experience.
