I have a technique question. I haven't done bottlecaps before. I have the caps and the circle cuts to go on them but most of the commercial ones have some kind of a varnish over them- what do I need to get this look or should I just keep them as regular cardstock. Also should I try to figure out a way to attach them to a book and put in the glue to the back (I am guessing I should use layers of the thick mounting tape I usually use for shaker boxes.

When I made bottlecaps, I used dimensional stickers, so I didn't make them shiny. If I wanted something shiny, I would probably use modge podge or something like that. To attach them, I would use foam tape or pop dots. I hope that helps a bit.
