Can I sign up for group 2 - library pocket? What a great swap. DS loves all things pirate and plans on having a pirate bday party next year, so I"ll have several uses out of this one!

There is also a coluzzle template, and bazzill also makes premade library pockets. If you do a search for a library pocket pattern, you will probably find one..

So, do you use two sheets of paper so that the inside is the same as the front pocket, or do you have the pretty paper as the short front part and the plain white side the longer inside part?

If you need someone to fill the spot for Bottle Caps in Group 1, I would take that spot, but then my library pockets spot would need to be changed to Group 2, or vice versa. If someone else, who doesn't have a spot in either group, wants it, I will just do the original group I signed up for. Hope this makes sense!

Due Date : Oct. 31,2006 (This should be easy to remember!)
Swapped out within a week.

This is an element only swap. No page kits. Everyone will choose one element. Some elements will have 2 spots.

Quality work only please; Here is my defination of quality work...

Quality work is work that you are proud to show off in your own book, Quality work is about work that you have spent time and energy on to make it "just right". Quality is not only bulky. Bulk doe not equal quality! There are plenty of techniques you can use to enhance items without adding bulk (if you don't want the bulk).. However, there is nothing wrong with bulk! LOL Qualtiy work is something that you can send in and be proud of! Doesn't matter if you are a newbie or advanced scrapper.. Just do your best. But, i am looking for something other than stickers thrown on some paper.. and sent in. Does this help? I just want to make myself understood on this point.


Swap will close when full or by Oct.1st...whichever is first. Maximum number of groups will be 2. I don't want to get in crazy here!! LOL

Postage, please send what it took you to send your items plus 3 extra stamps. Please bag all items and label with your name and group (Dis name please) and your item (i.e. "tag") You may send in a recipe (items you used to create your piece) if you want.. but it is not mandatory.. i just think they are nice if someone wants to make another or buy matching pieces.

I will pm everyone after signups with my mailing address.

It is totally up to you with that! That is the great thing, they are so fun to create, and it is limitless as to the possibilities!

Also, forgot to mention, The newest issue (Sept??) of paper Crafts mag. has some great library pockets in it!

AS for the question about the pirate bottlecaps, i don't know if they make them.. But, that is the fun part, if they don't , YOU get to design them! Let me see if i can post any info about how to do them..

I am new to this board! Hi everyone! I was reading this and am a good friend of Caitsmama and I have to say that she is creating monsters out there!!!! You guys are just like sponges!!!! She is a great scrapbook instructor and "element" instructor! Learn from her!!! Even on-line she is teaching you!!! Way to go girly!!!! Proud of you!!!! Please don't take offense with anything she says, she is the sweetest person you will ever meet in your life! Trust me!

The thing is just have FUN with what you are doing and enjoy the new projects she is teaching you! You can use them on cards, scrapbooks, mini scrapbooks, etc... Great as gifts, whatever!!! Just have fun! That's what it's all about! Let the creativity out! I can't wait to see all your work!!!! I wish I could have joined in on the fun, but I joined the message board too late!!!!
