Pirate rooms or little mermaid rooms

We are coming early March. My daughter loves Caribbean beach but only rooms available discount or non are pirate rooms. Little mermaid rooms are also available at a little lower price. I know both are far from the lobby. Anyone have experience with either?

I have stayed in both. Both have access to the Skyliner. The Pirate rooms have double beds and are decorated with a very dark color scheme. They are close to a bus stop but the buses at Caribbean Beach make multiple stops. I did not find it that difficult to walk to the main pool and food court. Also Caribbean Beach has free style coke machines in food court and in each section.
The Little Mermaid rooms have a queen bed and a table that folds down into a queen bed. They are decorated with bright colors. The Little Mermaid rooms are the most distant from the bus stop and food court but have a nice pool. The Art of Animation has only one bus stop and no free style coke machines.

I thought the Little Mermaid rooms are at the Art of Animation. If you want to stay at Caribbean Beach it would be the Pirate rooms. I actually booked them by mistake.
I ended up in a Pirate room with my two sons in 2014. They were 20 & 26 at the time. :D The room was fine and very themed.

Little Mermaid rooms are at AofA and are close to skyline but a pretty good walk from the buses and food court.

Little Mermaid rooms are more recently renovated and may appeal more to your daughter. Art of Animation is a super cute resort and very themed with fun pools, great food court, arcade, big gift shop, walkable to Pop Century and has the Skyliner. I do love Caribbean Beach though. That's a tough one. I would tend to lean towards Little Mermaid for newly redone and Queen beds. Good luck! You can't go wrong with either but maybe a new resort would be fun.

I think people are confusing LM and Pop rooms. There are NO Murphy beds in LM rooms. You get two queens and a little table for two. I have never stayed at CBR, but I loved our LM rooms. We did not use the buses much because we were focused on Skyliner parks and used Lyft for AK and MK. I enjoyed the food court and the pools.

I was having this same debate, except it’s more that my sons want the pirate rooms and my daughter wants the mermaid room. We have stayed at CBR, but a friend just came back from AoA and raved about.
