Are the pirate rooms in any way convenient to skyliner by taking the bridge path walking? How long is the walk?

They are pretty convenient to the CBR Station. Like a 2-4 minute walk depending on where in Trinidad your room is.

It depends what building you are in. Bldg 39 is farthest and about a 10 minute walk. We were there in January and bldg 39 is out there the farthest. Others are real close and just across the bridge. So look at the resort map and request a close building. The Skyliner is a game changer for access. There are other areas also close to Skyliner that are not pirate rooms also. So anyone who says some are not close have not stayed there or are wrong.

Uh oh ! I’m booked here for September. I was considering looking into renting a DVC instead. Also booked AKL for December. I’m still contemplating moving things around...this helps.
They themed the rooms furthest from everything as pirate rooms to help entice people to stay in those rooms. They know its a far walk from most things, so they're hoping the cute theme helps. But aside from this fact, the rooms have double beds rather than queens. I've not slept on it myself, but I have heard the beds are also uncomfortable because they are on a unique "pirate ship" platform that's not a traditional box spring. I think CBR is a good resort to stay at, but I would not want a pirate room.

Thank you so much for the information. This possible trip is 2 adults so double beds are fine. I have stayed in pirate rooms before (pre skyliner and also during construction and did not like it at all). Im looking for skyliner access that I don’t have to walk forever to get to and the pirate rooms at cbb are only ones discounted. I can see on the map that skyliner is just over the bridge but I can’t tell if that’s a

They are close (at least the ones I stayed in building 34). Its less than a 5 minute walk but the bridge walkways are pretty narrow so anything wider than a stroller makes it hard to use.

Most likely the same from a preferred room in Martinique

Actually the same from a preferred room in Barbados. The walk to the CBR Station from Martinique is quite a bit longer than the walk from a Pirate Themed Room.

We just stayed in a pirate room at the beginning of March and found it very convenient to walk over to the Skyliner. We also were impressed with the the little area of conveniences right nearby: a bus stop, laundromat, local pool, and especially the Spyglass Grill, which we found to be surprisingly good. Also note there is a Joffrey's Coffee just outside the Skyliner as you cross over the bridge, so you can get your morning caffeine to enjoy on the "flight"!

Is the Joffrey’s Coffee just outside the skyliner at the CBR skyliner stop? (One closest to pirate rooms; not the Riviera stop)

We stayed in the Pirate Rooms in Feb. We found the walk over the bridge to the Skyliner station to be pleasant and not that long. We also did not find the beds uncomfortable. The addition of spyglass is nice and I would also add the walk to Centertown was not awful and would have taken even less time if my kids hadn’t wanted to stop and look at every lizard and hammock on the way each day!
