Are the pirate rooms in any way convenient to skyliner by taking the bridge path walking? How long is the walk?
Uh oh ! I’m booked here for September. I was considering looking into renting a DVC instead. Also booked AKL for December. I’m still contemplating moving things around...this helps. The pirate rooms are convenient to nothing.
They themed the rooms furthest from everything as pirate rooms to help entice people to stay in those rooms. They know its a far walk from most things, so they're hoping the cute theme helps. But aside from this fact, the rooms have double beds rather than queens. I've not slept on it myself, but I have heard the beds are also uncomfortable because they are on a unique "pirate ship" platform that's not a traditional box spring. I think CBR is a good resort to stay at, but I would not want a pirate room.Uh oh ! I’m booked here for September. I was considering looking into renting a DVC instead. Also booked AKL for December. Most likely the same from a preferred room in Martinique
Is the Joffrey’s Coffee just outside the skyliner at the CBR skyliner stop? (One closest to pirate rooms; not the Riviera stop)We just stayed in a pirate room at the beginning of March and found it very convenient to walk over to the Skyliner. We also were impressed with the the little area of conveniences right nearby: a bus stop, laundromat, local pool, and especially the Spyglass Grill, which we found to be surprisingly good. Also note there is a Joffrey's Coffee just outside the Skyliner as you cross over the bridge, so you can get your morning caffeine to enjoy on the "flight"!
