Pirate & Princess Party returning in August - select dates

AllEarsNet is reporting this on their home page. P&P Party in August on select dates. Dates have not been announced yet. I SO wish I could get there but we are going in December!

It's for sure happening now. I even saw it on the Disney World website. If you go to the calendar and hang out there long enough you should see the ad.

We'll be there Aug 22-28, maybe we'll be able to do it! I won't even mention it to my DGDs until the dates are published.

Several CM said that it was going to 2 dates a week starting in August and it's either going to be a 4 week or a 6 week run before MNSSHP starts September 14.

I would love to do this. For those who've done it, is it worth it? What kinds of things, besides the parade and fireworks that I've read about, do they have to do?

The party is TOTALLY worth it. We went the last night on March 8th. The parade and fireworks were awesome! We had the entire Magic Kingdom practically to ourselves.

Now, I don't know if this is true, but a CM told us that the parties were going to start around the 15th of August. We're going for our Disneymoon August 4 - 11th, so if that's true, we're going to miss it! I hate that! I hope the CM was wrong!

August 15th would make sense, though. These parties are scheduled during slower times of year. I think the last 2 weeks of August are out of the summer regular season as schools start to go back in session.

Parties are reasons for people to come to the parks. As much as that stinks for people travelling in early August, that's probably a reason for scheduling it later in the month, IF that's what happens.

Well I hope they put in for the end of August because we are going the last week and would pay the extra to go. I even told the family about it and DS's were excited. We have been to the Halloween party and it was a blast and I am sure this would be just as fun. I guess I'll have to wait to see what dates are posted and hold out for some magic pixie dust for a date during our trip.

I was just contemplating a solo trip in September... if they have P&P party in August I'm going to give it a try! Come on Disney release the dates

I thought it was worth it, I'd definitely do it again. The MNSSHP is my favorite party, but this was a lot of fun too. I still have photos on my site from the 2/15 party - though they'll come down sometime soon. We are redoing the site, so at some point I likely will put them back up permanently (especially since this might be an annual event).

I am so excited about this!!! In 2005 we were there for MNSSHP and in 2006 for MVMCP. We are going the last week of August this year and I was bummed about missing MNSSHP but this more than makes up for it!!!
Can't wait for them to release the dates.... hope it's soon since I may need to shift some ADR's around...

This would be great. We've never been at WDW when they have had a special evening thing happening, except the old E-Ride night....I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Aug 26-31....we lose Haunted Mansion, this would be a reasonable trade.

I am looking forward to the P&P party! We are at WDW 8/21-8/31. I just hope it doesn't mess up my dining adr's & I have to switch too much around. Took me forever to figure out a plan!

When will they let us know??? ...Its so frustrating..we are already in the 180 day window and i want to make an adr for in the park for the night we are at the P&P but I don't know what night yet??

What about all the people who already have Adrs for the castle that night...I mean Adrs beyond 7pm...what happens to them?
