Pirate party?

I'm not sure how a toy gun would go over if you are flying but we bought a toy sword on-board in one of the stores. We had no problem packing it and bringing it on the plane to go home.

Yes! We have brought swords and a light up blunderbuss from the PoTC ride to Pirates Night.

Yeah its pretty open. I have seen all sorts! There is so many people dressed up in all different crazy, its not like they check every costume or anything. You should be good to go. Although I don't know if I would risk bringing any real replicas that could even potentially hurt someone or cause a stir, then the rules may change in the future! Good luck on pirate night!

I don't think they allow replicas. They are still considered weapons, I believe. If you look on the planning page it tells you what is not allowed. No realistic looking "toys" is my understanding.

In reading the restricted items it also mentions bull whips.... really? Is that a problem? I did see a few swords on the Fantasy (not many) but wondered if they just bought them on the ship or brought them. I would say they would not allow the toy gun for sure but not too sure about the sword.

They sell swords and and toy guns in the gift shops. I just got off the Dream and ended up buying a ton of that crap because I decided I wanted to be a pirate. $50 later... :sad2:
