Does anyone have pictures of Pirate Night on the Western? Can anyone give me more info on it? It is held the night we are in Cozumel right? Is the ship sailing when it starts? Which deck is better to be on? Any info appreciated.

Thanks,
Wendy

I know that some of you photographers must have pictures of Pirate Night. pirate:

I'm working on getting them on a webpage now. I'll post the link tonight. :)

Here's the link to my pictures from Pirate night on the 12/4/04 Western. Sorry, the site was messed up last night & wouldn't let me post very well. The first ones are from the dining room. The second batch is from the deck party that night.

There are also pictures of the Christmas decorations on it. Pirate night has a seperate page.

Cute pictures. We are going on the Mar. 25th Magic so now I have some ideas for the dress. Thanks!!

You're pics are so nice! Thanks for sharing them! I just told DH I want to cruise next time at Christmas season!

I loved the pirate hats your children were wearing. Did you bring them with you or were they available onboard? Do people still dress "tropical"? I just bought matching outfits for my family.
Thanks for your help!
Mary

great pics & your kids are so cute dressed as pirates

thanks for taking the time to share!! my son is going to wear the outfit he has on in the pic below- i bought it for halloween with the cruise in mind! pirate:

What time is the pirate party usually held? We will have late seating and I hope we don't miss it!

What's a 7 yr old girl wear on pirate night??

And the big question....did you see any adult men wearing pirate outfits?!? I'm not all that enthusiastic about putting on ruffles and feathers and banging into walls because an eyepatch has screwed up my depth perception.

Well, I bought the matching Tropical Mickey outfits for all of us in June before it was changed from Tropical night, so we just wore those. Many others did as well. I picked up the hats at a yard sale a couple years ago & they have been in the kid's dress up stash. :)

They have red bandanas on the tables at dinner & alot of people put those on their heads at both dinner & the party.

I think that the deck party started at 9:45 or 10 pm? I know that we went to see The Incredibles for the show that night and the movie ran long. I kept an eye on my watch to make sure that we weren't late for the party.

One thing that we did last cruise & again this cruise was bring the glow necklaces & braclets for the kids to wear at the party. They do sell them at the party but you can get a pack of 6 at the dollar store. :)

Next time I will be buying things for us to look more pirate like. I will wear black pants with a frilly blouse & maybe get a flouncy long skirt & blouse for DD. DH & DS can wear black pants & a loose white shirt with the pirate hats. IDK if we will wear them to dinner along with the party though. It was neat getting the kid's picture with Mr. Smee & Captain Hook before dinner with their pirate hats. :) Captain Hook kept taking DS's hat. LOL! DS finally started saying "tick tock" and Hook tossed the hat at him.

There were several men dressed up & 5 of them were selected to go up on the stage to try out to be one of Hook's crew. They had alot of fun.

Lisa, Loved your pictures- cool to know that we saw the exact same fireworks! I think I was nursing during them! LOL Anyway, we are going again with Ryan's family in Jume 2007 - can't wait to see what's changed by then.

Everyone will love the pirate party - I even went and got my Dad out of bed near 12 am to go have a turkey leg at the buffet. The also had Chipolte type burito/fajita things - yum!
