I've searched threads but can't seem to find the answer.

Is there a Pirate Night on 7 night Star Wars cruises? Or are both celebrated? Just thinking about costumes. Tx!!

Yes, there is a Pirate night on Star Wars cruises. It's just more of a Pirate night lite, though. No Pirate menu.

Thanks. Sooo if you have kids, is it better to bring Pirate or Star Wars costumes/clothes to get into the spirit?

Sorry, only you can decide what sort of costume (if you're going to limit yourself to just one) would be more important to your kids. It's not an all or nothing thing, though. Pirate night is just one night. Star Wars at Sea is just one day. Not the whole cruise.

For me, personally, I don't get that worked up about Star Wars, so Pirate costume works for me.

We did full pirate costumes, but only star wars shirts and hats.
Not mentioned, but they will only have fireworks on StarWars night. They were really good.

Are the Star Wars fireworks different or "better" than the pirate night ones?

Perfect!! That's just what I needed :)

You could also design your costumes where several of the pieces work for both the Star Wars theme and the Pirate theme. For instance, my boots, pants, and vest were used for both costumes. There was a guy on my cruise that was a pirate Schmee Jedi.

I'm guessing you were costuming as Han Solo, given that he's a space pirate anyway.

Just checking...

We'll be on a 7 night Eastern Caribbean on the Fantasy.

- So there will still be a Pirates Night and a Star Wars night?
- No fireworks on Pirates Night?
- Is there a Pirate menu?
- Are there fireworks on Star Wars night?

Just trying to plan ahead, especially with costumes readily available right now for Halloween.

It is my understanding that the following would be the answers.
Yes.
No.

Last year there was a Pirate dress evening, but the menu was standard rotational dining. There was not a Pirate menu during the SWDAS cruises. There is a Star Wars menu on Star Wars day. Fireworks only occur on Star Wars day.

Thanks @phinz

Interesting! I wonder what the Star Wars menu was like? I'm not a fan of the Pirates Menu (old one and not really the new one just introduced last week either) so won't miss that one. Thanks for the info.

I'm wondering about this to.

Is there still a Pirate Deck party?
Do the servers dress up?
Do we still get bandanas?
How about the pirate late night buffet with turkey legs?

I really hope they do the pirate menu, especially with there being a new one now!
Thanks!
