Does everyone get pirate night hankerchiefs in their room on all cruises?

We will be on the Magic Oct. 9th, and tried searching for recent posts on this but did not find anything.

Thanks!!

Not always in the room. We've gotten them at the dinner table on many of our cruises. Those cruises that have Pirate night.

Not really "handkerchiefs". A triangular "bandana" style piece of fabric. Typically too small for an adult's head.

Ok - thanks for setting the expectation. That helps alot!

At least it should fit my 4 year old head :)

Awesome. Thank you! We will check our room, but if they aren't there, we will hope they are waiting for us at dinner. :D
I'd suggest, if they aren't in your room, prior to dinner, ask your stateroom host. Time was when the classic ships got the bandanas at dinner table, and the Dream class ships got them in the room. That may have changed and everyone gets them in their room now.

Ahhh. Makes sense. We will do that first if they aren't in our room before dinner. Thank you!

we never use ours, they get tossed aside, but if i remember correctly don't they come the night before with the navigator at turn down service? thats how i remember it but my memory is certainly not what it used to be and as i say, we don't use them and pay little attention.

At least now they are an official Disney design. For a while they were Oriental Trading bandannas.

I have several of the Pirate night bandanas. Starting from our cruise in 2008. They all have Disney designs on them. Maybe they were short on your cruise and had to get some last minute replacements?

As to the size, I just took 2 of them and sewed them together to create a larger triangle.

Interesting... maybe it's because I usually cruise in the fall, we hit right after the busy season? :confused3 We've only gotten the Disney ones on the very last cruise we went on.

I don't know. We've cruised May, Sept, Oct and Dec on DCL. Had Disney ones every time.

No way one could fit my husband's (rather large) head. However, our last two cruises they've been in the staterooms and have been the standard Disney issue (no knock offs).

We were on the WBPC cruise. Our SR hostess did not leave them, and they were not at the dinner table, so we asked at guest services and they gave them to us. The next day...the day AFTER pirate night, our SR hostess knocked on our door and practically threw a stack of them at us and said "I heard you were looking for these" and then walked away without making eye contact. Moral of the story, if you get Ana as a SR hostess and you do not get them...ask at guest services.

Just got off the Wonder Thursday morning. We received ours with turndown service the night before pirate night, people were wearing them all day long.

I have an average sized adult male head and I'm barely able to tie it around my head.

We've also had the official Disney one on all 4 of our cruises since 2011.
