Anyone ever been? pirate:pirate:pirate: It's not a "Disney Port Adventure", but my son is very into the history of Pirates, so I thought if it was well done, I'd chance going outside of the box. It looks like its within walking distance of the pier. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hopefully you'll get some responses from those that have been there, I have not, but I've read some good things about it. And if there was ever a place more appropriate for a museum like that, it's there. That was the pirate capital of the world in it's golden age.

Took my 10 yo 3 years ago. It was very informative. A ships hull and a lot of at tifacts and historical information about pirates. We walked a few blocks from the ship to the museum. There was a guy dressed as a pirate (funny we saw him again last December when cruising to Nasdau). You can probably get through it in 1.5 hrs max

We did it with two families (4 kids ranging in age from 3-7, 4 adults). It is an easy walk from the ship to the museum. We probably spent about an hour tops there but the kids enjoyed it. We then continued on from there to Junkanoo beach (an okay beach, walking distance from the ship as well, kids liked the water and seeing the Dream in the background). All in all a nice afternoon off the ship.

Thank you so much for the responses. I know my son would enjoy this as opposed to any other 'adventures'. Looks like it's a go...unless someone convinces me otherwise.
