Pirate League Video

I know several people here have expressed interest in the Pirates League or BBB for themselves or their children, but were concerned how those with sensory/ASD/anxiety/other issues may deal with it. This is a video with "tips" for creating Pirate makeup, as done by a Pirate League CM.

This may help people decide if the experience is right for their child/themselves, and also prepare children for what to expect - they will be touched a lot by the CM, and some people may not be okay with this.

I just wanted to add to this post. My son did the PL in January and ultimately loved it. But, I didn't mention to them that he is ASD and I probably should have. The girl assigned to him just kept commenting about his lack of excitement. I told her that he is shy but I'm sure he was really enjoying it (he was). So just mention it to the CM if you go!
