Pirate League...has anyone done this yet?

I was just looking at the Pirate League thing and was wondering if anyone has tried this yet, if so how was it and will an 11 year old (my son will be 11 when we go) be too old for it.?

Theres a really big thread on it somewhere... I have not heard anything bad about it yet. We have 3 appointments scheduled for October 27th for the MNSSHP and my son's birthday for me, DS3 to be DS4 and DH! I can't wait to be an empress!

We have just returned from our trip and one of the highlights was the Pirates League! We reserved it towards the end of our trip for our 5yr DD. The whole experience was a hoot! It takes about an hour to get your new pirate name, have make-up done -visit a special chamber (which we are sworn by pirate oath not to discuss!) and then to get your special photo before checking out. There were all ages - including adults who were having thier transformation done!

We paired this with going on the Pirate and Pal Fireworks boat ride later that evening.
