Good day all,
Usual preface: I have searched the forums and not found a discussion of this exact topic and details, so I am starting a new thread.

We will be cruising on the Fantasy (Eastern Caribbean) with stops in Tortola and St. Thomas. Cruisers will be myself, my adult son and his adult girlfriend (both in their mid 20's). For my son, I usually book some type of hike as this is his type of entertainment (we did seven days and 30 miles in Yellowstone last summer). His companion has many similar interests as he does, but her family have their own pirate troop. They play many schools and weekend festivals around our area.

I would like to take an excursion in one of the ports that is 'heavy' on the pirate history, lore, sightseeing etc. Reading the port adventure listings on the Disney site don't give me the perspective from a 20-something's point of view and I would really like some opinions.

Has anyone taken this type of tour in either port? It doesn't have to be booked through Disney, self booking is acceptable. If so, can you give me an honest opinion about the tour(s) and if you would book again.

Thank you all, in advance.
