Pirate Firework Cruise

Anyone been on this lately? How well can you see the fireworks/projections? Thinking of taking my grandchildren, but want to make sure it is worth the $169.00

I did a regular unthemed cruise in both Magic Kingdom during wishes and in Epcot. It was before the projection show in MK. We had a decent view and the music was piped right into the boat. Before the fireworks that captain gave us a tour of Bay Lake and Seven Seas lagoon. I guess you trade the crowds for the projections.

My wife and I did Pirates and Pals Fireworks Cruise couple of years ago. We really enjoyed it. It is a great view of the fireworks, but you will not be able to see the projections very well. If you only have 1 chance to see HEA, you are better off watching it from MSUSA or use the money on the garden view dessert party. If you plan on watching HEA a different day and are just looking for something special to do, maybe not on an MK day, I think it is worth it. The desserts and Captain Hook and Mr. Smee M&G felt a little rushed, but were still enjoyable. The boat captains are a lot of fun. You get a front row view of the EWP and the view of HEA is from a vantage point you probably haven't seen before. We also had a M&G with Peter Pan after the cruise which was not rushed at all.

I would do it again in a heartbeat. Like everybody else said, you can't see the projections as well, but between the desserts, the meet & greets, and the ridiculously fun pirate hosts, it was one of my absolute favorite experiences. And even without seeing the projections clearly, it's still beautiful from the boat. It DEFINITELY would outweigh standing in a crowded hub hoping nobody blocked my view any day of the year.

Husband and I did it last year and loved it, although you can't see the projections it is still worth it in my opinion. The view of the fireworks is amazing. The interaction with the characters was wonderful. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Thanks everyone. We are actually going to do it on our Epcot day, without their parents, and have 2 more days at MK....so it seems it is a keeper

We did the Pirate & Pals a few years ago with my niece and her family. It was great! So fun!!

I'll also add we did the Ferrytale Fireworks Dessert cruise and enjoyed it, too!

You can't see the projections on the cruises, but there are still a lot of fireworks! and the cruises are very fun! We would do both again!

Good to hear the positive reviews, so we are having dinner at Jinko at 5, will we have enough time to get over to the Contemporary Resort for this, it says 8PM and be 10 mins early.....??
