Has anyone ever been to this? I love Medieval Times so I think I would enjoy this. I'd just like to hear some feedback from anyone who's ever been there. Thanks in advance! :)

We went to this in 2006 and didn't really enjoy it very much. We have been to quite a few dinner shows, Arabian Nights, Dixie Stampede, Makahiki Dinner Show (Seaworld), Hoop dee doo, Spirit of Aloha and a few in other places (DLP, another Dixie Stampede), and enjoyed them all. However with Pirates it all seemed a bit chaotic. We started in a room where they serve some appetizers (included) and a pay bar, as well as 2 tiny shops. The room very quickly became very crowded with very long lines for anything, and by the time the pre-show started, nearly an hour later, we were all very hot and cramped and tired. Eventually we went into the show, which had a basic storyline but was very confusing and so much happening at once, people swinging around, some singing and dancing which was quite good. The food was ok, the service kind of lacked and we were brought drinks twice the whole night.

We were a party of 5, my parents, my boyfriend and I (23+25) and my little sister (10) and all agreed we weren't that keen and the only one we wouldn't revisit. I think unless you are really into pirates or have children who are it might be better to find another one. Obviously this is only our opinion though.

Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. I think we're going to try it out once and form our own opinion. I love POTC so I think I'd be entertained and the format sounds a lot like Medieval Times.

We've gone to it 3 times and always had a good time, but when they say unlimited beverages what they really mean is 2 beers during the meal. Supposedly there is a state law but we never had that problem anywhere else. The food is typical dinner theatre fare and the show was a lot of fun, they also have audience participation. Some nights (not sure if it's every time, we only saw it once) they have a dance after the show is over, this may have been to get more business from the Brazilian tour groups. If you have teenagers they might enjoy this.

If you're looking generally at off-site stuff, the Unofficial Guide people have a book called Beyond Disney. Not only do they review off-Disney parks, but they run through the dinner show choices. Their description of the pirate show was similar to the PP's experience.

We went in 2001 and loved it! The food was good and the Pirate show was lots of fun. They really make you get involved in the show and we got to take pictures with the actors after the show ended. I think you will have a good time there.
