The official WDW website (

Wonderland Tea Party:
Join Alice and her curious friends for lunch, cupcakes and, of course, a spot of tea. (For children ages 4-10)

If your son is now 11, then he is indeed too old (according to Disney's official policy).
But there are lots of other fun things you can do together. If you check out the
official WDW website, you will find some of them listed (
For example, the two of you could consider renting a
boat (motorized and non-motorized craft: Sea Raycer by Sea Ray® boats, sailboats, SunTRACKER pontoon boats, canopy boats, pedal boats, row boats, kayaks and canoes), going
fishing (two-hour fishing excursion in the lakes of WDW, or cane pole fishing at a number of resorts), playing
miniature golf (Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland), going
horseback riding (including ponies and a petting zoo), playing
tennis (professional programs and private lessons), playing
golf (six courses and private & group lessons), doing
water sports (waterskiing, parasailing, wakeboarding, tubing), and lots of other fun activities.
Walt Disney World is a great big place. I've been vacationing there for years and there are still lots of things that I haven't experienced yet (but given enough time, I hope to experience them all).
