I have 3 kiddies (9,6,& 4). We never used a sitter or any child care for that matter with them & are a little nervous about doing the pirate cruise since we cannot go with them. I know my 9 & 6 year old would do fine but is the 4 year old too young to go alone on the Pirate Cruise? My DH & I could have a lunch alone..hmmmmm.
Thanks!

This is a tough call...you know your 4-year old best.

My two boys are as opposite as night and day. One son could probably go and travel around the world by himself at age 5 and never blink an eye! He is always so cool, calm and collected in new situations. :cool1:

My other son is totally opposite. Even something as going to school for the first day each year is a major freak-out. I would NEVER have been able to send him on the Pirate Cruise without a parent, as he has always needed a mom/dad hand for support. (Heaven help us when he gets older...He will NOT get to live with us forever, mark my words!!!)

Anyway, if your son is like my 2nd son, then I would say, no, don't put him on the cruise. If he's pretty good in new situations, and he can do okay with just brothers as support (and not need a mom/dad), then let him do it! pirate:
