Hi!

I just read about these in another thread. What are they? What are the appropriate age groups? Cost?

Thanks!:Pinkbounc

I personally think your kids are too old. Mine did the Adventures in Cooking back in 2000 when my daughter was 3 and my son was almost 6.

The were right around the same ages as the ohter kids.

Basically they decorated a chef hat, and durable cloth apron, cooked cookies, and served them in the lobby .

I bet your kids would love Disney Quest!

My DD (age 6) just did Adventures in Cooking in July. Most children were her age. They decorated a chef hat and a cloth apron, they made tarts of various flavors and then they served them in the rotunda at the Grand Floridian to anyone and everyone who wandered by. She really loved it but I would think that about 8 years old would be the limit.

Mehudicka, my niece is older and she did all three of the children's activities at the GF. She had a great time. Since she was older, the GF CM's treated her as one of the "leaders" for the kids so they gave her extra responsibilities that made her feel special. It all depends upon your child's outlook as to how much they'll get out of attending any of the activities (I know that I would LOVE to attend them but for some reason the GF's staff keeps telling me that I'm a "little" bit too old, arg! ;) ).

I have some photos posted of all three of the GF's children's activities: click here to go to my on-line photo albums.

I put $XX.XX in the above because the prices have changed and the website does not reflect the new pricing. When you call to book the activity, they will quote you the correct price.
