Pirate Cruise - all booked - DS is bummed

I'm not getting a good feeling about this. I need three spots. On our last trip, all cruises were booked the whole time we were there. This is DS10's last shot at it.

What days are the cruises currently scheduled for??? I don't understand why they can't do one every day (or one morning and one afternoon) since *any* male CM could be a pirate. I say "Supply and demand" rules and this is one of the very few things geared at boys! ::yes::

First, supply and demand is working. They now do the cruise three days a week - it used to be two

Second, sometimes the crew is completely female. They don't need a male CM to be the pirate. They are ALL pirates

Third to the OP, call the day before because people will cancel before the 24 hrs. That is how I got my son on his last voyage.

Ho Ho Ho Ho the pirate's life for me (isn't that how it goes?)

I think it is M W and R (r for thuRsday)

Thanks! One place I read said MWR and one said TWR. Guess I'll know next week if the boys get in.

pirate: :p

GF also does Grand Adventures in Cooking and Wonderland Tea Party, Apparently the same staff run the Pirate Cruise and Cooking, since they are offered on different days.

According to http://www.allearsnet.com/pl/grandadven.htm, the Pirate Cruise is now offered FOUR days a week. So the GF is being responsive to the high demand for this event.

Let's be appreciative that the GF Resort operates this activity (apparently) out of their own budget but accepts all WDW guests. Who could blame them if they reserve half the slots for their own guests?

I didn't realize that it was targeted for GF guests. Interesting.

It sounds so fun for the kids. DD13 is disappointed she's too old. She's also (thankfully, I suppose) too old for the $200 tea party. :teeth:

I called in June to get my son on one in September and there were only 2 spots left and then; Frances came. They called me to let me know it was cancelled because even though it was a Pirate Cruise they were not that Adventurous!

There is a cost for these activities (they are not free) so why wouldn't they? It is like saying only people staying at FW can horseback ride.
