Pirate costumes

Hi,
I am new to the Disneyland discussion forum and need some help! My family and I are travelling to California to take The 7 night Mexican Riviera Disney cruise on February 27. I need to purchase pirate costumes for my 2 daughters and myself and was wondering if they are sold at the Pirates of the Carribean Ride or in Downtown Disney? They sell them in Disney World because they do the pirate makeover, so I am hoping I may get them at Disneyland as well! Any help would be great!!!!

I dont remember seeing them in downtown disney but I do know that they carry them at the Pirates of the Carribean exit store.
Im sure you could buy them online or at the Disney Store around Halloween. Have a good time!

Have you asked on the cruise boards? ( http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=9 ) A lot of people dress up, suprisingly so, adults and kids. Ask for some ideas. You don't need a dedicated Disney costume, just a balck eye patch to get started!

DD wore *this* when she visited the Pirate League and became Kelly Shipmunk last Oct. I'm guessing it'll still fit her this coming Feb. when we sail on the Wonder *2/6 sailing date!

I don't know that they sell any adult costumes in the parks?

Personally, I'd look for something third-party or maybe even from Etsy, versus paying Disney prices, especially if your girls just want to be pirates. I don't personally think Elizabeth Swann had any totally awesome pirate outfits, and you could get someone to make you an awesome costume for Disney prices. Plus the costumes would be unique.
