Pirate and Pals?

Anyone have any information on the Pirate and Pals cruise? We are going in may with our 4 children (DS 6, DD 6, DS 4, DS 2). They love Peter Pan. Anyone been on this cruise or know anything about it..cost??

We are going on Oct. 31. Lots of threads here on the subject, try a search. Here's the info I got from Disney... It tends to start 1 hour and 15 minutes before the Magic Kingdom Wishes fireworks.

Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage
(formerly the Magical Fireworks Voyage) Board at the Contemporary Resort. This event begins with cookies, snacks and beverages before you "set sail" on your magical voyage where you'll have prime viewing of the Magic Kingdom's "Wishes" and "Electrical Water Pageant." Before you board, none other than Captain Hook and his hapless first-mate Mr. Smee arrive for some mayhem and photos. Your host for the night is "Patch," a pirate of dubious distinction. As you sail along the Seven Seas Lagoon, Patch will have you singing along and challenge you to some Disney Trivia. Your "ship will set anchor" at the perfect spot overlooking the Magic Kingdom to view "Wishes". From there you return to the pier while Patch regales you with the story of Peter Pan. When you arrive, you'll see that none other than Peter himself is there to greet you. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Starts at 7:45pm, except Sunday is 8:15pm. Halloween night is 8:15pm. Price: $53.99 (ages 10 and up) $30.99 (ages 3 - 9).

When I asked my DH what the highlight of the trip was for him, he said the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Cruise! We had a great time and this was after being up since 3am the same day since we did this on our arrival day. I kept it a secret from my DS6 and then told him while at dinner that night. He really wanted to meet Peter Pan and indeed he did.

We were told to arrive at 8pm and most people were already there by that time so I felt "late". Wishes! wasn't until 9pm that night, but I agree with the 1 hour 15 mins ahead of Wishes! would be a good time to arrive. Just as another poster mentioned, there is a great thread in reference to this with lots of reviews/pictures on here. If you have any specific questions, I'll be glad to answer for you. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I'm glad we did it!
