Pirate and Pals Question

Disney says the Pirate and Pals can be booked 180 days in advance. Does this work like ADRs, where you can book for your entire stay starting at 180 days from your check-in date, or do I have to wait exactly 180 days from the specific day I want to book?

IIRC it wasn't open at 180 for me. I had to keep checking back.

I think it CAN open at 180 days but I dont think it is likely. Ours opened maybe 3 months before our trip. On the website there is a calendar you can see the released dates. I remember we wanted Sept 1st and they released the whole month at once. I called on my way to work that morning and booked it no problem.
