I read somewhere that children can take a pirate trip on the lagoon. Has anyone ever done this? Did your children like it!! I am trying to decide if my 6 year old son would like this. Thanks for any info

I think you may mean the Pirate Cruise at the Grand Floridian. I've never done it but what I've read makes it sound like alot of fun for kids. The CM's take the kids on a treasure hunt in a boat on the Seven Seas Lagoon, I think. It's a PS that begins booking 120 days in advance and I've heard that they do sell out often.

If you do it let us know how your son liked it!

Janet, Thanks so much for the pictures! I have booked the pirate cruise for DS, age 10 for August's trip.

Hi,
saw your reply, and if I'm not mistaking, the ages for the pirate cruise is 3-10. I read in my passporter, the children need to be potty trained as well. SO, please let us know what you find out!;)

Sorry my - was suppose to be a zero!:D He is 10!

The PTC is wonderful. My kids (6 and 9) were a little unsure when they left but upon return it was their "favorite" thing of the whole week! The CMs are great with kids and really make it fun for the younger and older ones. They made several stops to hunt for clues around the lagoon finally finding treasure at River Country. They had a snack and got a goodie bag of pirate loot. I was so glad I booked this event for them!
