Has anyone done the pirate adventure? I signed the kids up for it this time and am wondering if they give them any costumes or if kids tend to come dressed up to that or what? Thank so much for the info! Also I just read that the BBB has a "cool dude" style for boys. does anyone know the price on that or has anyone done it? My boys are 7..wondering if it would be worth it for them incase we take DD there!

I would like to know about the "cool dude" at BBB as well?! I have a DD8 who I plan to make an appt. for and by DS4 would be jealous if he just had to sit and watch his sister get pampered!

Hey all
I have my son signed up for the cool dude style at BBB. It is $10.00 + Tax. They are supposed to get colored gel & style that they choose and they said something about putting a mickey mouse on the back of the head with gel??? Not real sure about that?? If anyone has been and knows more I would love to hear about it

You need an appointment. When we were there they were not taking any walk-ups. There are only 10 chairs there and they are booked weeks ahead. You can call 407-WDW-STYLE to book an appointment. If you use a cellphone then leave the E off as is messes up the number. Personally the place is very girly. I saw one family trying to coax what looked to be a 7 y/o in there and the boy would have none of it. He refused to go in and the parents were not happy. DD loved it at the BBB and I have already booked her for MNSSHP morning so she will be fixed up for the party.

We don't give the kids a pirate costume. We do give them a red and white striped hat with Mickey ears.
Kids do come dressed as pirates sometimes, though it is not important. They have to wear a life jacket the whole time, so it does cover up the costume. But if they have a pirate outfit and want to wear, please let them. We always comment on the pirate outfits and they always look so cute.

My kids did the Pirate Adventure and had a great time! It was so hot they just wore tanks and shorts. They wore life vests the whole time and red/white bandanas w/ Mickey ears. None of the kids were dressed up. They had a wonderful time.
