For leggins you may want to check walmart..they had some on sale last week there and I paid 3.50 for a pair of short ones for Gabby.. I know Justice and Children's place both have them but I think theres are about 7 for the short ones..oh and also check Family Dollar

Ohh..I hadn't even thought of Family Dollar, and we try to hit there a couple times a month to see what they have! I did check Wal-Mart, and they didn't have them, believe it or not. I know K-Mart has them on sale this week, but there's no K-Mart anywhere near where we have to go today, so if we don't find them reasonably anyplace else, we'll head that way tomorrow. In general I don't do the mall, couldn't tell you the last time I was in one..lol..but if worst comes to worst, we'll check there tomorrow..thank you so much!

i am very happy that she liked the pins, and glad she wanted to keep them as a set and not trade them away.

for display at our house we bought the corkboard squares at michaels and then decorated them with our names and put our pins on those.

just another idea for your pins if you want.

Just a thought if you don't have any luck finding the leggings today and you diden't see them at Walmart you might try calling and asking if they have packaged kids leggings. I was looking for leggings for my DD's birthday and diden't see them the first day I went to walmart. The second time I went to buy the top I had decided to get (it had been between two) and accidently ran into a rack of packaged leggings by the girls underwear.

Do you happen to have a JC Penny around you? I found Sierra some leggings there. Or a Kohls? Our JC Penny is not in a mall and I am so thankful. I have been trying to get to the mall since before Christmas to find Ty some of those tight shirts his therapist wants but I am having a hard time finding motivation to go I definately need a sitter that day. I can't belive how close your trip is!!

We found some..woohoo! At a very random place, but they had them and I was able to score two pair for like $8 total. I know what you mean about the mall and motivation, that's part of the reason I don't go! We're getting very close!!!

Just a quickie update tonight, as I'm not for this world too much longer! For some reason I have a headache, and soon as Piper's meds are finished up, I'm off for bed!

So the great leggings search was a success..we found some at Cato..a regional store that mostly carries women's clothing and about 6 sq ft of girls, lol. We found capri length ones, and picked her up a white pair, and a gray pair. I'll wash them if I need to. :

I don't know what it is about travelling, but somehow I always think we need way more snacks than we actually will. We went to Kroger today to get food for Gram's furbaby, and of course, had to cruise the aisles since we don't have a Kroger in our small town! We scored dark choccy covered raisins, trail mix with fruit, nuts, and m & m's --color Piper happy--, Wasa crackers and brownie bites. I'll bag them in individual sizes, and we'll use them on the flight as well as at the parks for snacks. : I had already bought Tinkerbell fruit snacks, so we'll have those as well. Hmm..Piper will have them anyway..I think they're .

On the other park bag necessity list..we have a travel first aid kit, ponchos, a mini-umbrella, lysol wipes, handi-wipes, and antibacterial hand gel! Piper has separated her pins into "keepers" and "traders" and put the traders on a lanyard. She'll put her keepers on her GKTW lanyard. We also have a quick stop at the Emporium planned first thing to score some locking pin backs. I'll also either take the passporter or a small notebook into the park, along with her autograph books. Can you tell why I'm taking a backpack?

I have ambitious update plans for tomorrow night, to make up for tonight, so be sure to check back! Almost 3 days!!!!

Snacks are always a big dilemma!! You want to have enough and not get caught being unprepared, but 99/100 times you'll never use what you have. And they're heavy. And they get crushed.

Thanks, Jenn We are just as excited, believe me! I have a feeling the backpack may get a bit lighter each day, but we'll see..LOL. We are snacky people, but then again..Piper would eat 24/7 if I let her! Monday I need to hit the bank one more time, and Piper has homebound. Our rest day will be tomorrow!
